Berforts was formed over 30 years ago to provide a wide sector of companies with the choice and flexibility to place their print and mailing requirements with a single supplier. We are a printing company with years of experience in Lithographic Printing, Digital Print, Print Finishing and Direct Mail Solutions.

The Berforts Group combines two highly responsive print, fulfilment and direct mail companies, strategically situated in Hastings on the South Coast and Harlow in Essex, just 15 miles north of London near Stansted Airport. This provides convenient access throughout UK and European locations.

FUTURE GROWTH

In industry, as in nature, continued growth depends on the provision of a healthy food source. Berforts has invested strategically over the last few years in new equipment, in order that we may continue to grow and stay more than competitive in an already saturated market. The results of which means that our customers benefit from use of the latest technologies.

What investment has been made?

Investment is an ongoing commitment. Trees and plants grow old and die, as does equipment, so it is important to analyse what we have, and what needs upgrading or replacing.  Recent investment has included a new colour digital printing press, adding to the existing mono digital press in our dedicated digital print department. We have also installed one of the latest high speed (500 pages per minute) mono digital web fed press. This specially designed high volume press is ideal for short run bookwork as well as longer run multi page documents.

That’s all very well but what does it all really mean?

Some people are interested in how the environment works - and others just appreciate the finished article; the fully grown sunflower, the 100 year old Oak Tree. Well, in print some customers just want to know whether we can do the job for them, on time, at the right price and with a good quality finished product and some who are interested in exactly what we do and how we do it, in which case the following pages will be of interest.
